Text mining course discusses the concept, theories and implementation of different data mining techniques on textual data. It gives details about text mining tasks (text preprocessing, association and representative approaches), as well as different text mining applications such as text summarization and segmentation. At the end of the semester, the students will learn the fundamental of text mining in a functional view.
